What would I do for a Klondike Bar and a chance to win a $50 Heartfelt Creations gift certificate.

I have never had a Klondike Bar that I did not like, no matter what flavor.  I feel the same in regards to Heartfelt Creations Stamps, Exclusive Dies  and Paper Packs.  I subscribe to their blog posts. I mark my calendar  each month for their new release date. I take the classes that they offer at the scrap booking and stamp shows. I peruse their website time after time.  Am I a Heartfelt-aholic?  If I am I will not be taking the 12 step program.

You know that I get  the Heartfelt Creations e-mails then  you know I knew about the  Design Team call. After two weeks of deliberation with myself, I applied.   The directions were  to email three completed card or scrapbook samples with instructions that showcases some of my unique work.....so I did. I picked out three items and pressed send.

I was chosen as one of the semifinalists!  Excited I was, no doubt.

Here are the three items I submitted....... an encore.  Please click on the photo below to view the details of the layout.

A beautiful two page layout with pockets, tags and charms. Plenty of mat's for pictures or journaling.

A tag with a stick pin and dyed ribbon.

A card made with a photo stamp, colored with distress inks and flowers made with punches and a Spellbinders Die.

A Close To My Heart Card Swap

not just a regular card swap............................................

This is my favorite card to look at today. What you see is a card made with 100% of Close To My Heart products.  The card stock is from La Belle Vie  paper packet. I used both of CTMH's exclusive cricut cartridges the new Artiste cartridge for the Eiffel Tower, the roses and the label and Art Philosophy cartridge was used for the leaves.  I used the stamp set Jardin and the stamp set that is included in the Work Shops on the go  La Belle Vie Scrapbooking Kit. I also used the lovely dyeable ribbon, black tulle ribbon, bling assortment, and tiny grey and black rhinestones. The ink pads that I used were sorbet, smoothie, holly hock, smokey plum, bamboo and desert sand.  I used the sorbet reinker and water to color my ribbon.  The roses were made by cutting out three different sizes of roses from the Artiste cartridge and rolling them up and shaping the petals.  If you are interested in any of the CTMH products  click on this link here  Michelle Nist. Michelle is my neighbor and she can get you the stuff.  For the swap I made 10 identical cards plus one for me to keep.

here is what a group of the cards looks like.  I was very busy that day.

Happy Birthday Chickie

Chickie a.k.a. Ann and I have been friends since Kindergarten, that would be 49 years. Chickie had a birthday like she does every year, but instead of a card I made her this tag. She has her tag displayed where she can catch a glimpse each day and laugh. And we wonder........ Is the Hokey Pokey what IT is really all about?
