Heartfelt Creations Wednesday Inspirations....snowflakes

Directions: Fold a 5” x 7” card base out of ivory. Stamp the Holiday Script Background on ivory with VersaMark and heat emboss with Egyptian Gold ep. Cut five big snowflakes and seven small snowflakes out of vellum using the Snowflakes from Banner and Trees Die. Highlight the snowflakes with glitter. When the snowflakes are dry stack five small on five large and glue crystal to center, glue crystals to center of remaining two flakes.  With Radiant Rectangles die cut out around Holiday Script Background and layer on turquoise sea paper popping up script with double dots.  Layer card as shown and attach bow and snowflakes to card.

When I looked at the lace tree die it reminded me of my Grandmothers tatting. I incorporated the lace and holly behind  the sugary candy canes and set a glistening poinsettia on top. A slightly vintage look here.

Directions: Fold a 5” x 7” card base out of ivory. Stamp Candy Canes with VersaMark on ivory card stock and emboss with clear ep then cut with Labels Twenty Eight Die and emboss with Dainty Dots. Add color with Distress Inks. Stamp Candy Cane on ivory Paper and heat emboss with red and sparkle ep then cut around Candy Canes. Stamp and cut Holly Berry with coordinating die from Frosty Blanket Collection. Stamp and cut Christmas Poinsettia with coordinating die. Cut two of the Tatted Lace Christmas Trees and spray with water then Glimmer Mist and crinkle up, let dry.  Cut the Enchanted Labels Twenty Eight out of Frosty Blanket paper and layer on kraft paper. Stamp Christmas Sentiment Circle and punch with 1” circle punch and glue to back of charm. Assemble card as shown using Double Dots and hot glue.

Today I have for you a card that takes me back to my childhood when we would hang our clothes, towels  and sheets on the line to dry.  I will never forget the feel and the scent of the sheets and towels that were line dried.   I believe that the wonderful artists at Heartfelt Creations  were reading my mind when they created the stamp HCPC 3541 Summer Season from the  Gateway To The Seasons Collection.

Directions:  Fold card base out of Blushing Bride and layer with a piece of light Daphne Collection then sponge the edges. Distress a layer of dark Daphne Collection then sponge the edges. Using black ink stamp Scene from Summer Season on ivory card stock then sponge with Wild Honey, Scattered Straw and Walnut Stain, attach to dark layer.  Cut a piece of the striped Daphne Collection and stamp Border from Summer Season with VersaMark and heat emboss with Rustique Tin Can then add borders with score tape and heat emboss with Rustique Tin Can, attach to dark layer as shown. Stamp and cut flowers with coordinating dies. Shape flowers add prills or pearls to centers.  Cut Leaf Spray and Decorative Lattice Swirl out of ivory card stock color as desired.  Spray the Decorative Lattice Swirl with water and crumble up then spray with Perfect Pearls for shimmer. Die ribbon with Spun Sugar then let dry. Stamp sentiment on ivory and cut with banners die. Arrange your flowers on and under the Lattice Swirl as shown. Attach the lattice, flowers, leaves, feathers and bow as shown

Heartfelt Creations Holiday Inspiration

Today I have a card for you using the wonderful stamps and coordinating dies from Heartfelt Creations.  When I looked at the  Snowflake from the new  HCPC 3543 Winter Season PreCut Set I immediately thought  Fireworks. Since the 4th of July is right around the corner it was a perfect opportunity to  use the Snowflake along with the fabulous  HCPC 3544  All Seasons Sentiments PreCut  Set.   I found the words Happy 4th Of July. WOW! Perfecto! Let's do it!

Directions:   Using Grand Labels Twenty-Three cut five different colored layers then dry emboss the red, white and blue layers and edge all layers with the gold pen. Adhere layers in the center with tape then wrap ribbon around center and make a bow. Cut a DP rectangle and oval with Radiant Rectangles. Cut an Oval out of white paper. Using VersaMark Ink stamp the snowflake from Winter Seasons randomly on to the white oval then heat emboss with gold embossing powder. With the VersaMark pen ink up the tiny snowflakes from Winter Seasons and stamp on the DP oval then heat emboss with gold embossing powder.  Make a red rose, white daisies and blue posies stamping the flowers with the Golden Glitz Ink and cutting with coordinating dies.  Shape the flowers with the Paper Blossoms Tool Kit and Mat.  Assemble the flowers adding Gala Glitz and Prills to center. Cut the Floral Flourishes from water color paper and sponge with green ink. Color the words “Happy 4^th of July” from the All Seasons Sentiments with navy blue ink and stamp on white paper, cut out then edge with gold. Cut red, white and blue stars using the Stars die. Attach sentiment to red star. Arrange card as shown using double dots and hot glue gun.

Here it is  Wednesday time for  Heartfelt Creations Inspirations. It has been an interesting week.   We were without power for three days ( Thursday, Friday and Saturday).  I live in the country on a dirt road and have a well for water so when there is no electricity there is no water.   We were so happy when  the electricity came back on at 5:30 PM  Saturday. When things happen that are out of your control you just have to deal with it.  The worse thing that happened is that I was late with my weekly post but I had a  real good reason for being late on a project and that is not bad at all. How appropriate it seemed to make a Belated Birthday Wishes card.

Directions:   Fold card base out red coordination’s.  Using the Grand Square Dies cut a red layer then score  around the edge of layer in ¼ “ increments  and sand edges.  Cut a white layer and with octagon die cut a window then emboss with the M-Bossabilities folder. Cut a frame ¼” wide with octagon dies cover frame with Scor-Tape then burnish on Shell White Glitter and sponge edges with festive berries. Attach the frame to the white layer using 1/8” Scor-Tape. Stamp Bridge on black paper with Snow Cap ink and heat emboss then highlight with glitter and position behind cut out window.   Stamp Botanical Floral and cut with Rose Creations Die then assemble three different flowers (Rose, Hellebore, and Cherry Blossom). For the center of the Hellebore use the three small dies from Delicate Aster. Stamp and cut leaf with coordinating die. Die ribbon with festive berries. Make two stick pins from silver, crystal and red beads.  Stamp sentiment on white paper. Assemble the card layers then add bow and stick pins and arrange flowers.

Stamp sentiment on scrap of ivory and cut with die. Dye ribbon with distress stain and edge with Gold Krylon Pen.  Attach the layers, flowers and ribbon as shown.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday Inspirations more than just a card....

Happy  Heartfelt Creations Wednesday everyone. It is finally Spring like here in  Southeast Michigan and with Spring we get green grass and with green grass we get the cows in the pastures and that makes me think of my childhood days on the farm. Nothing is better then fresh ice cold milk from the milk can and warm cookies. That is the thought behind this card.  I thought that this would be nice to give with a plate of cookies or the cookie in the jar mixes or perhaps a box of chocolates.

I stamped the  Milk Can from  HCPC 3517 Busy Bee PreCut stamp set three times and colored it in then I made a few  HCPC 3303 Posy Patch Flowers. I used card stock and  I used the versatile Sunny Day Paper Collection to make both  my flowers and my leaves. The leaves were made from  HCPC 3410 Decorative Basket PreCut. The leaves and posy were cut with the coordinating dies found at Heartfelt Creations.

This card would be great for upcoming Mothers Day. The flowers remind me of Zinnias. What do they remind you of?

For this card I used Kraft Paper and HCDP1 232 Balmy Breeze Paper Collection. I find it so nice not to have to decide on color combinations. With Heartfelt Creations paper collections the hard part is done. If  you desire to change up the colors then  customize the paper with your color pallet.

Heartfelt Creations Swans

Today I have for you a beautiful  Golden 50th Anniversary card. I  used  the die and stamps from Heartfelt Creations  newly released Sweet Serenity Collection and the Open Vintage Floret and coordinating die.
When I glanced at the Swans the very first thought that ran through my mind is that Swans mate for life. I thought that they would make a gorgeous 50th Anniversary card.

This close up is to show you the versatility of the Vintage Floret Precut  stamp and coordinating die. Both the vintage rose and the blossom are made from the Vintage Floret stamp and die. You can see that they are two very different looking  flowers from the same stamp and die and that is one of the many reasons that I am so passionate about my Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies. I really appreciate the fact that there is more then one way to use the stamps and dies.

Directions:
Fold a 5” x 7” card base out of White with Matting Basics A cut the largest die out of White. With Matting Basics B cut a Gold piece to layer on the White then dry emboss the Gold with the Dainty Dots. With VersaMark stamp the Swans and Decorative Leafy Frame on White heat emboss with Egyptian Gold then cut with coordinating dies. Stamp the Decorative Leafy Frame on White with Golden Glitz. Color both frames and swans.  With Matting Basics cut a White layer the size of the Decorative Leafy Frame. Position the Swans on the White through the circle opening on the Decorative Leafy Frame then Layer the Embossed Decorative Leafy Frame on top using Dimensional Tape. Make five Vintage Floret Roses and five Vintage Floret flowers. Die cut or electronically cut 50^th and heat emboss with Egyptian Gold adhere to Framed Tags. Cut Leafy Swirls from second Decorative Leafy Frame and layer Vintage Florets and Leafy Swirls and Tie a bow and attach. Layer the card as shown using Double Dots, permanent tape and glue.

Directions:
Make a 6 x 6 white card base. Cut a 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 linen. Cut a 5 ¾ x 5 ¾ from Countryside Evening DP (yellow with tiny blue grey five petal flowers).  Cut the largest corner die out of the upper right corner of the DP then layer on the linen paper. With VersaMark stamp the Melodious Songbird on water color paper, emboss with Rustique Patina Azure. Cut with the Smallest Grand Circles Die. Color Songbird, flowers and leaves using a water color brush and distress ink. Apply Crystal Effects to bird’s belly. Sponge the sky, sun and green around bird. Cut two of the smallest Grand Decorative Circles out of the DP. On one of the die cuts, cut the largest Standard Circles. Layer on card as shown. On a piece of water color paper stamp the smallest Posy 20 times with VersaMark ink and emboss with Rustique Patina Azure. Cut with coordinating dies. I use the Layered Scallop Posy die because there are eight of the smallest Posy die with the set.  Color the Posy with Shaded Lilac and Milled Lavender distress inks.  Shape the flowers and glue a rhinestone in the center. Glue a small rhinestone on the bird’s eye. From the linen paper cut Foliage Two leaves and spray with Perfect Pearls Mist.  Stamp sentiment on linen card stock with VersaMark and emboss with Rustique Patina Azure cut with circle die.  Cut a circle next size larger from water color paper. With Splendid Circles die cut DP one size larger then water color circle. Layer as shown. Tie ribbon and attach to top of largest circle.  Attach Posy and leaves following the pattern in the DP.
