Welcome to Sparkle N Sprinkle Autumn Inspirations Blog Hop

Here in the north the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting cooler. Autumn is less then a month away, please join us with a stroll down the lane to enjoy the wonderful colors and celebrations that Autumn brings.  If you strolled here by the way of the beautifully creative soulful  Barbara Bruder, then you're in the right spot. If you'd like to start from the beginning  and become eligible for the Grand Prize and five other mystery prizes, then click here to go to Sparkle N Sprinkle.
The first card I have created  happens after the first frost, when the roses wilt slightly and turn a deeper shade.  To make the Rose and Rose Buds I used Spellbinders Die  Rose Creations S5-050 and Foliage S4-328.The lable is Fancy Tags One S4-235 and Petie Ovals S4-140. The back ground  was cut from a Lace Die. The centers of the Roses are accented with  Autumn Fire Glitter Tinsel , the lace is accented with  Flaming Orange Glitter, Meadow Spark Glitter and Bridal Glitter. The sentiment is embossed with Bullfrog Embossing Powder. The complete recipe for this card can be found here.

The next card I created is for Halloween even though the days and nights might  be getting cooler Nikki is still HOT!  This is just a fun card. I picked the Bubbling Caldron , Nikki Witch Diva and the sentiment I'm Still Hot!, colored with Copics added a few die cut flames and  glitters to highlight, embossed the sentiment with Jazzy Orange Embossing Powder EP272. The complete recipe for this card can be found here.

My last card is a reminder to be thankful and all pumpkins are not Orange.
To create this card I used Spellbinders Pumpkin and  Maple Leaf Dies.  Each Pumpkin has a different treatment. The largest has subtle veining made with Memento New Sprout Ink 99618 and sentiment  "You're always in my thoughts" from the new stamp set Thoughtful Frames 436.  The medium Pumpkin's sentiment Happy Thanksgiving is embossed with Harvest Nights Embossing Powder. The small Pumpkin is completely covered with Harvest Nights Embossing Powder. For the right amount of bling I added a little  Autumn Medley Glitter. The complete recipe for this card can be found here in the card gallery at Sparkle N Sprinkle

Remember to leave a comment to become eligible for the  Grand Prize and five other mystery prizes, now it is time to stroll over to Jill Jacobsen.

The roses look so real, I can all most feel the heat from the flames, and your pumpkins make me feel the fall weather. Nice job.

Well, Wow just won't do it Linda. These are all so wonderful and diverse. Love the punch out on the first (and the roses)--so elegant. The Nikki card is too cool (lol). I've never seen that fire punch (is it a punch or die?). Great combo of stamps and elements. And the pumpkin card is outstanding. Kudos.

Love the diversity of the cards you've posted for the SNS Blog Hop. They're really great! But, like so many of the others, the Rose Trellis is absolutely elegant. And, even though you made it for Autumn, the applications for this card are endless. Thank you so much.

Your cards are so unique and creative. I did love the witch and the sentiment. I am just getting started with the embossing folders and such. Your background on the card with the leaves really really stood out to me. Thank you.

Beautiful cards. Funny you should mention that all pumpkins are not orange, first time I saw a cream colored pumpkin was last year. Are there other colors of pumpkins?
