Hop along with us as we celebrate Winter's Festivities. If you arrived from the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog then you are right on track. If not start there for all the details on the great prizes you could win by leaving comments along the way.
What says Winter Festivities more then a Penguin in a top hat fit for Liberace? For this card I used two stamps from Stamp Set 438 - Playful Pengie and three glitters Sparkling Snow G1003, Fiery Fushia G1004 and Laser Blue G1074 a couple of Spellbinders Circle dies and Grommet Tag die, Grand Calibur and metallic paper and tiny rhinestones. To view the complete instructions click here.
Using this same Stamp Set 438 - Playful Pengie I put the Candy Cane Pengie 3551-438C on an ornament and dressed him up with Charcoal Glitter G1081, Sparkling Snow Glitter G1003,
Twinkling Clouds Sparkle N Soft SS107 for his hat and Candy Cane Embossing Powder EP110. The Candy Cane Embossing Powder looks exactly like its name. The complete directions for this card can be found here.

Since we are talking penguins and ornaments here is my grand finale...

Again I used the Stamp Set 438 - Playful Pengie. I used the Grand Calibur and Grand Oval die to cut out the card and a Crown turned upside down for the toppper on the ornment. I colored with copics, paper pieced the scarf and band on top hat. I made glitter paper with Denali Sky Glitter G1055 and Super Adhesive Sheets SA602 and cut out snowflakes and topper. To view the complete details of this card click here.
I hope you have enjoyed the cards as much as I have enjoyed making them. Leave a little love (comment) before you hop over to the stunning, show stopping Shona

The first card I have created happens after the first frost, when the roses wilt slightly and turn a deeper shade. To make the Rose and Rose Buds I used Spellbinders Die Rose Creations S5-050 and Foliage S4-328.The lable is Fancy Tags One S4-235 and Petie Ovals S4-140. The back ground was cut from a Lace Die. The centers of the Roses are accented with Autumn Fire Glitter Tinsel , the lace is accented with Flaming Orange Glitter, Meadow Spark Glitter and Bridal Glitter. The sentiment is embossed with Bullfrog Embossing Powder. The complete recipe for this card can be found here.
The next card I created is for Halloween even though the days and nights might be getting cooler Nikki is still HOT! This is just a fun card. I picked the Bubbling Caldron , Nikki Witch Diva and the sentiment I'm Still Hot!, colored with Copics added a few die cut flames and glitters to highlight, embossed the sentiment with Jazzy Orange Embossing Powder EP272. The complete recipe for this card can be found here.
My last card is a reminder to be thankful and all pumpkins are not Orange.
To create this card I used Spellbinders Pumpkin and Maple Leaf Dies. Each Pumpkin has a different treatment. The largest has subtle veining made with Memento New Sprout Ink 99618 and sentiment "You're always in my thoughts" from the new stamp set Thoughtful Frames 436. The medium Pumpkin's sentiment Happy Thanksgiving is embossed with Harvest Nights Embossing Powder. The small Pumpkin is completely covered with Harvest Nights Embossing Powder. For the right amount of bling I added a little Autumn Medley Glitter. The complete recipe for this card can be found here in the card gallery at Sparkle N Sprinkle.

Sparkling Wintry Sensations
Welcome to the Sparkle N Sprinkle "Sparkling Wintry Sensations" blog hop! If you hopped here by way of the very talented Karin, then you're in the right spot. If you'd like to start from the beginning and become eligible for SIX great prizes, then click here.
I have a few cards for your viewing enjoyment so grab that cup of peppermint cocoa and enjoy the show.
Here is a beautiful Menorah with the candles lit with Raspberry Soda and Lemonade Glitter. The Menorah is embossed with Black Detail Embossing Powder and backed with rich silver mirror card stock. Since I used mirror card stock it is hard to photograph but in person it is rich and elegant. To create this card I used the Swirl Menorah and Happy Chanukah from the Jewish Stamp Set #388. I used 8 different colors of Semi-Transparent Glitter glitter for the 8 day festival of light. Detailed instructions for this card are here.
My next card I continued with the Chanukah Theme and made a card with the dreidel , a four-sided spinning top with a Hebrew letter on each side. It is used during Chanukah to play a popular children's game that involves spinning the dreidel and betting on which Hebrew letter will be showing when the dreidel stops spinning. The Dreidel, Star of David and Sentiment can be found on the Jewish Stamp Set #388. I kept this card simple using mostly the colors of the Israeli Flag, Blue for the water and White for the sky with Silver and Gold Detail Embossing Powder and Golden Sparkle Embossing Powder. I used an embossing folder for the back ground and Spellbinders Octagons along with Ribbon Tag Trio. Detailed instructions for this card are here.
If you have visited my blog in previous blog hops you know I like a little humor. Oy Vey , woe is me. I thought I was headed to the South Pole where the penguins are instead I hit shore at North Beach ??? For this creation I used the Knit Hat Pengie and the Sun and Palm Tree from Stamp Set 158 Tropical with a little bit of Hit The Beach Embossing Powder and Poolside Embossing Powder and finish it off with Sparkle Embossing Powder. Detailed instructions for this card are here.
You have to love those frogs, Moonlight Serenade here and he is singing. He is so into it that his lily pad has ice and snow on it. He borrowed his Santa hat from Santa Chimney. He is framed with Spellbinders Labels 13 and the sentiment is computer generated then cut with Spellbinders Ribbon Tag Trio. Instructions on how to put this card together are here.
It is time now to refill your cocoa mug and .........
Perhaps I am one of "The Five" with a secondary prize, so don't forget to leave a comment to become eligible for the Grand Prize and one of the 5 secondary prizes, then hop over to merry Marie .

I was minding my P's and Q's...
This is my version of a Clean and Simple card. I created it for the Sparkle N Sprinkle Design Team challenge. It would be worth your while to peruse each designer's cards for great ideas and inspiration, you can find them here.
This CAS card is made with paper , glitter and glue. Parisian Mist Glitter, Chocolate and Pear Pizzaz Paper, quickly paint the Brushable Glue in the de - bossed or indented places cover with glitter. Quite nice wouldn't you say.
