Heartfelt Creations never ending inspirations.

Hello! welcome to the New Year and the first Heartfelt Creations Wednesday Inspiration of 2013.
New year, new snow and new inspirations is what  this card is all about. This card's inspiration is all around me.  It is my family, my friends and where I live.  It started on Christmas Eve, when my husband was practicing for choir.  He sings in the church choir and one of the songs they were singing was "The Winter Rose".  It  was snowing on Christmas Eve.  Last week on Wednesday we received about nine inches of the most beautiful sparkling snow. The snow covered everything and sparkled like diamonds.  If you are from the snow country you know what I am talking about and if you are not just close your eyes and picture it............

Yes, this card is all Silver and White and yes there are ice crystals on the roses.

Thank God For a Friend Like You

Whoa, Linda! My eyes cannot stop feasting on this card - so many wonderful details, that there is no place to stop and SIGH. Love the stamped image of Winter Rose Page, and the pretty glittered edging on the book, the silver gilding, the EP in the floral pieces, the beaded details, ribbons. Just amazing. Still... it makes me glad to be in FL and not have snow LOL Thanks for sharing your wonderful card.

One question. Did you fold your vellum leaves so they would not curl upward? I notice that your leaves have dimension, and look like they are behaving by staying where you want them to be.

What a stunning piece of art. It is a true winter fantasy...all that sparkly white and silver. It almost makes me feel cold, and I am in weather of 80 degrees!
